L family

I'm quite sad that I'm cutting back on October photos this year, but I can't be disappointed because we'll be welcoming a new baby to our family some time in October. These photos were taken October 2011 when everything was crisp and sharp and all the leaves were so nice. I'll miss that this year but maybe we'll do some newborn ones to make up for it.

Despite a few 'blinkers' in this family, we did pretty well and got some good ones for them. Another fun crew to work with for sure!

I can't believe in a few weeks this little guy will be ONE! Not sure where the time goes... This is my cousin's little boy. I imagine he'll be thinking about a little girl shortly ;)

M family

There has to be something I'm behind on in life... or lots... my recent procrastination, or avoidance maybe is a better word, has been my photography blog. So sorry to those who have visited here hoping for something new. I *have* been updating my facebook photography page quite regularly so I'm not keeping you in complete darkness...sorta!

little Miss K & family

Earlier this week I got to spend some time with this beautiful family. I was fortunate to photograph little Miss K when her mom was pregnant with her and her newborn photos. She is so adorable!

Little Miss K was a great sport while I practiced with my new backdrop stand and clips... even on day 2 of seeing me! I think we may be friends now :)

Thanks again to the G family for letting me in their home and play with little Miss K for a few hours :)

Baby S Birth

Anyone who knows me knows I am in *love* with pregnancy and newborns... it's true. There is nothing more beautiful than the gift of life, and I was beyondddd excited and more than willing to capture this magical day for my sister, Casey, and Dave's brother, Jake (my brother-in-law). P wedding

Here are just a few (I'm sorry so few) from the wedding I photographed a couple weeks ago. A *huge* thanks to the couple for letting me be a part of their beautiful day. The weather was amazing... slightly windy when we wanted to do photos after the ceremony... but still quite amazing. Everyone looked great and fun times were had. Lots!  :)

I can feel summer beginning and great things are happening. After a trip antiquing yesterday, I picked up quite a few things to add to the "photography supplies" collection. Some need a good bath and some need a little lovin' but I'm very excited to start putting them in action!
